- The Sleepcliner™ bed elevating system is a new type of adjustable bed designed to elevate your bed exactly
as your physician prescribed, without use of awkward solutions,
such as 6" blocks stacked under the base of your headboard.
The elevation achieved is known as the reverse Trendelenburg
tilt.
- It is designed to install under your existing residential mattress
and foundation (box spring).
- The Sleepcliner™ bed elevating system allows you to sleep on your side or your
stomach. Other adjustable beds bend at the waist making them unsuitable
for a good night's rest with your head elevated.
- To prevent the mattress from slipping down from the foundation
during elevation, the Sleepcliner™ includes a patented gripping
mat that is placed directly between the mattress and foundation.
- With the Sleepcliner™, you can restore your bed to its
normal position in the morning, make it as you normally do, and
no one need ever know that you elevate your bed at night.

The frame
will fit all U.S. standard beds. It is not intended to work on a
waterbed or platform-style bed. The Sleepcliner™ comes in
three adjustable sizes. The QK100 model will fit the Queen, Expanded
Queen, Short Queen and Eastern King size beds. The TF200 model will
fit the Twin, Twin Extra-Long, Full/Double. The DK320 Dual King
size bed is two Twin XL frames with two actuators/converter boxes/handheld
controllers and a king foot board.
The unique feature of the
QK100 model, compared to adjustable beds on the market, is that
it is expandable to accommodate a king bed with a king size mattress.
Other adjustable beds on the market today do not have a king size model
that accommodates a king size mattress. If you want to use a king
size mattress, you must buy two twin XL frames, at the cost of a
dual king model, bind the two frames together, disable the lifting
mechanism on one side, and lift the bed with the remaining lifting
mechanism.

The Queen/King Sleepcliner™
weighs approximately 150 pounds and will ship in two boxes. The
instructions are easy to follow and the Sleepcliner™ can be
installed and ready to use in approximately two hours. There are
44 identical pan head screws with locking washers and pre-installed
nuts, making it easy to assemble. There are four, easy to install,
clevis pins securing the rotating parts. Although one person can
assemble most parts of the Sleepcliner™, a second pair of
hands will be necessary to complete the final stages of assembly
and to install your existing mattress and foundation. The Sleepcliner™
installs with simple tools.

The Sleepcliner's™
high quality and elegant design is quickly evident. The attractive
frame has a matte powder coat black finish.
When
the bed is in its lowered position, the foundation will be 7.25"
from the floor, leaving the system at the height of a standard bed,
and undetectable when you enter the room. This standard height will
accommodate a 15" standard bed skirt.
As an
option, you can add attractive 5" feet risers to the frame, placing
the bottom of the foundation 12.25" from the floor, a height that
will accommodate a 20" bed skirt. With your Sleepcliner™,
you will be able to make your bed with your own linens, maintaining
the appeal of your own bedroom décor.
The handheld
controller has simple push-buttons to move the Sleepcliner™
into the up and down position. A 9' cable plugs into the converter
box which is located inside the metal base at the head of the bed.
The handheld controller has a hook on the back, allowing it to be
hung in a handy location and easily moved to either side of the
bed.
As the
Sleepcliner™ elevates, side guard panels fan open at both
sides of the base, creating an attractive appearance when elevated.
