- The sturdy frame may be used on
its own, or inside most kinds of bed frames including four-posters
and sleigh beds.
- It is available in three models - the QK100
(Queen/King), the TF200
(Twin/Twin XL/Full-Double) and the DK320
(Dual King with two actuators/handheld
controllers), which are adjustable to fit all U.S. standard
beds.
- The metal base rests on adjustable glides that can be elevated
up to 1" and function as levelers. Casters or feet are available
as optional extras.
The Sleepcliner™ elevates the bed by using
a low-voltage electric DC linear actuator,
a converter box and a handheld
controller.
- The actuator mounts on a
side rail inside the metal frame (right
side when lying in bed), and plugs into the converter
box. The actuator
raises and lowers the foundation and mattress as one unit.
- The converter box is located
inside the metal frame at the head
of the bed.
- The handheld controller has simple
push-buttons for the up and down positions. A 9' coiled cable
connects the handheld controller to the converter box. The handheld
controller has a hook on the back, for hanging in a handy location,
for instance on a headboard. It can easily be moved to either
side of the bed.
- As the Sleepcliner™ elevates, side guard
panels fan open at both sides of the base unit shutting
off access to the moving parts from the sides of the bed.
- The converter box plugs into your
AC 110 Volt electrical outlet and converts the current to low-voltage
electric DC - the safest current for home care use.
